This policy explains what information Tuscany Bags collects and how we use it. We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you place or begin an order we collect your name, contact details, shipping address and order information. If you start checkout but do not complete it, we may keep these details to send you a reminder to finish your order. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your order, provide support, send order-related updates and reminders, and (where you opt in) send marketing updates. We share only what is necessary with our supplier and carriers to fulfil your order.

Live chat & AI assistant

Our website offers a chat assistant (“Giulia”) to answer questions about our products and services. Giulia is an automated (AI) assistant, not a human. When you use the chat we collect the messages you send, basic technical information such as the page you are on, and — if you choose to share it — your name and email so our team can follow up. These messages may be processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate replies. We do not use them to make automated decisions about you, and we never ask for payment-card details in chat. You can contact us at any time to access or delete your chat data.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to remember your cart. Analytics cookies help us understand how the store is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
